He sounds really dejected and doesn't look well.
I don't know if it's his mom's health or his marriage or something else that isn't going well, but this isn't the same guy we knew for 20 years.

A whole hell of a lot of people have shit going on in their lives from time to time. They talk to friends or other people close to them. They don't stand at a podium and tell the world.
I don't know what happened to him over the past 3 years, but he's not the same TFB we knew up to 2019.

I don’t know if he seemed dejected in that interview, but certainly not entirely present. I’d imagine reporting of recent events (tampering) has probably got him stressed/pissed, coupled with the fact he realizes his current team isn’t particularly good (nor is it the team he even wanted to play for this season).
