With the 4th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft

Ron Stanley would be a terrific get. After he recovered from his injury he came back and for the entire season (2024) he gave up 2 sacks. The Ravens are in cap trouble we should look into OLT Ron Stanley.

Agree, Stanley would be a very good addition.

I want nothing to do with Tet in the first half of the draft....now I'm not a scout, but in the "tape" I've watched of him, I see a chainmover not a game changer.....in in the top 5 you want the latter.

Need to watch more of him but from what I've seen I'm inclined to agree.
 
Wasnt sure where to post this. Draft relate i suppose if pats got a pick(s)
Not saying i want to get rid of milton, just that his performance did get attention, even if it was against bills backups

1. Titans - QB Cam Ward
2. Browns - WR/CB Travis Hunter
3. Giants - QB Shedeur Sanders
4. Patriots - EDGE Abdul Carter

I won't look at any mock draft from here on out if they continue to make picks for the Patriots that don't have OT at 4 or OT after a trade back.
Carter may be great and all that but OT is by far the biggest need and 2 OTs will likely be picked in the top 10.
PFN has OT Kelvin Banks going to the Raiders at 6 and OT Will Campbell going to the Bears at 10.

Banks is a sturdy, mobile offensive tackle who lands his jabs with ideal timing and placement, possessing a high motor in the process. The Raiders’ offensive line has some intriguing young pieces on it like Dylan Parham and Jackson Powers-Johnson, and Banks would give them another potential building block as they retool their offense.

I've kinda come around on Banks over Campbell, And as you stated OT is the biggest need by far. The more I watch of Carter though, It's going to be hard to pass on him. If we're picking 4 I'de take Carter. If they can trade back to 6th-9th I'de take the whichever tackle is left because Carter will be gone by then.

I appreciate that pov but I also can't let a 5th straight year go by without building the OT position.
Why not trade 4 to Carolina who needs an EDGE guy for their 8th pick, add a pick and still get Banks or Campbell?

I might have to walk back my words after reading this mock by Brendan Donahue, the most accurate mock drafter over the past 5 years.
I know nothing about the 2 OTs he takes but if he thinks they're good enough then who am I to disagree.
I approve of WR Savion Williams and Carter approaches being a generational EDGE guy.
This has merit don't you think?

A scout for one of the post season (Hula?) bowls ranked Conerly as the top prospect at OT.
Saw a mock draft recently that had about 4 OT s in the later part of round 1.

We are early in the process, the rankings are going to change.

I acknowledge that OT is this team’s greatest overall need and had they secured the 1st pick, I envisioned them trading down to a spot that would likely yield one of the top to OT’s. But I would not want them to pass on a talent like Carter at 4 unless their able to trade down slightly from there.

I would be happy with a scenario like the mock above.
