Hilarious. How funny would it be if the burglars were women and the same thing happened? It would be a "ripped from the headlines" episode of SVU. No shit it left them physically and emotionally damaged.

This was actually similar to my reaction to the new Thor movie. Thor was tied up and stripped naked in front of all the Gods and everyone else, and it was played for laughs. If it had been Tessa Thompson or Natalie Portman's characters it would have been treated very differently. And if not, the movie would have been cancelled.

Horses are big, strong, they bite and sometimes they're dangerous when, for example, they are stung by a bee or a car backfires or when any little thing spooks them.
These parents are taking real chances here. 1 bite or 1 missed step is all it would take.
