This makes me proud to be Canadian...I don't think I've ever seen a crowd at any sports event do this before...

That was very motivating, I must say, For those that can't open the window, or don't want to wait for the download, Its a Edmonton Oilers game and the guy signing the Canadian national anthem forgets and trips over the words, Finnally the crowd takes over and signs the song for him. And its a beuitiful song too.

But isn't Edmonton part of Canada? Or did Alberta withdraw from the Repulic? I mean, Shouldn't it be sung in french, not english?

The vast majority of Canada is English speaking. Quebec is the only holdout and most of them are bi-lingual. The maritimes (new Brusnwick, Nova Scotia, etc.) are an interesting mix of english and french.

That may be true, But every time I've watched a hockey game from Canada, they've sung the national anthem in French. Not to mention it's their national Laungue. Ain't it?

The Canadians here can correct me, but the only reason why french even lives on in Canada is because the the Quebecers. They've been trying to secede from Canada for many years. The rest of Canada has given them concessions to prevent political upheaval. Most Canadians west of Quebec don't know a bit of french and would prefer not to have to deal with it.
 
That's pretty much right. New Brunswick is officially bilingual (it's about a 70-30 English-French split here), Quebec's officially French, everyone else is officially English.

The only NHL arena where the anthem is sung in French is Montreal. The anthem singer in Ottawa sings mostly in English but a couple lines in French.

From what I understand the New Superman movie is suppose to take place after Superman 2 and forget that Superman3 (with Richard Pryor )and Superman4 ever existed. So here,s the Fight scene from the second movie, campy as it is...

Kevin Spacey is at his best when he plays a psycopath so this should be interesting.

I also noticed that DC (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman)seems to take real good care with their characters when they appear in movies. DC seems really concerned with characterization, as opposed to Marvel ( X-men, Spiderman)who is in it for the BANG! feature. Asu such, To me, I don't see much action comeing from the new movie.
