What hits me about this is that Goodell would actually get out of his comfort zone to do the PMS with Bill. It shows me that Goodell, and therefore the NFL, has deep respect for Bill and
wants to give support to Bill's image &, at the same time, show disagreement with Kraft's attempt to smear Bill.

I think Kraft's "popularity" with the other owners may be at an all time low.

I keep saying it, but I thought it spoke volumes when NFL Films put that message saying they were dissociating themselves from 'The Dynasty' because they were unhappy at how Bill was being portrayed. It's clear that the NFL sees Bill, correctly, as a big part of the history of the modern game and were pretty unhappy with this smear campaign.
