It's still a little early in his career, but it's MHO that Andrew Luck is the real deal. I can see why Indy tanked a season to get him. I don't agree with it, but I can see why. They won't miss a beat with that kid.
I don't give two shits about the Giants 0-5 or the Broncos 5-0. My leaders in Foxboror taught me well. My only concern is the Patriots.
I've lived through every moment of the Pats history. I think that gives me the right to question why the Pats are struggling on offense at a time when they...
I don't live in the math world. I'm retired, have been since 2008. I did however study the numbers in the NFL for many years. I got to a point where I could pick games pretty accurately based off of strengths that had been most important over the years to winning. That was where I found out how...
Very interesting stuff MM. Thanks for taking the time. It'll be fun to follow this year if you have the time to keep it up.
I know many people poo poo on the power rankings, but aren't they more accurate now (and especially two weeks ago) than yours simply because they're taking more into...
We have played their schedule so far.
I took the top three power rankings, combined them and came up with a number for each team. I then applied those to each team's schedule so far and came up with a true strength of schedule. Here it is;
SOS Team Opps Avg
1 Atlanta 10
2 Jacksonville...
At the player intros Hoomanawanui had his chance to let the announcing world know exactly how to say his name. Instead he rushed through it a little and we're going to have to live with these dopes struggling to get it right.
Brady is having a lousy season so far, no matter who his WRs are...
Rich Eisen is the biggest dope involved with sports, and if you ever saw him throw a football you'd be amazed at what a clod he is.
I've also been waiting to read this thread and I can't wait to start re-watching Breaking Bad from the beginning.
My only question is what happened to the other...
I was in that situation in 2001 at Charlotte for the last game of that season. We (my youngest son and I along with about 10 thousand Pats fans) had the time of our lives. We owned the place. We even drove the bag-wearing Panthers fan to the other side of the field.
And get this. We all sang...

We know there would be a record breaking thread on JI.
Also the NFLers on all of the NFL shows would be winking and snickering.
Marshall Faulk would have something else to cry about too.
Ironically, the two best divisions in the entire NFL are those that I believed would be the worst, the 9-3 AFCE and the 8-4 AFCW.
The "vaunted" NFCE is 3-9.
Isn't P6 the one who's doing the "railing" against the schedule? I'm just commenting on him whining about it.
I didn't hear Joe Flacco crying about having to take his Lombardi and SB MVP and move it to Denver for opening night. Did you?
I see P6 is crying about having to play one of the worst teams in the league on short rest. And you P6 rumpswabs wonder why we rail against him here?
He gets to choose his offense and his team, has a cakewalk schedule that may end up being the easiest in NFL history, and he still has to cry to...
