Yes the games(baseball) are longer but I think the Sox-Yanks games are actually a little shorter since 2014. Still more then the average games. Other then the length of games and the shift and replay I think the game is the same. The cybermetrics on the field are overrated I believe.
I love all my Boston teams. Baseball is my favorite sport so the Sox have always been my favorite. It seems they have faded to second under the Pats and I'm a little disappointed. The Red Sox won 108 games beat two 100 win teams in the playoffs and won the World Series in 5 games. Yet they did...
This is almost as sweet as the 2013 Red Sox. They weren't picked by anyone to make the playoffs that year but won it all. These Pats weren't as big a surprise as those Sox but after some ugly losses even the most die hard Pats fan must have thought we aren't winning it all this year. That's...
I would have to say that's true. Quarterbacks are more protected now then in Montana's time. But it also unfair to say Brady wouldn't have been as great then. Different era's.
Did he go to one with KC against Bills in 93? Maybe I forgot one. That would be 4-3 if he did. Yes Chiefs lost to Bills. Brady's 13 games obviously blows that away. The NFC was a lot tougher then. Brady's 13 will probably never be broken. One of those records.
In fairness to Joe I think he was 4-2 in title games, and probably would have gone to 5 S.Bowls in 90 if it wasn't for a Roger Craig fumble against the Giants. But certainly Brady has been more consistent with less talent for the most part. Watching Celtics game.
That wasn't their best D but they were 13-3. Blew out the Broncos with Tebow, lol. That was big because they had lost 3 straight playoff games. Super Bowl 42, to the Ravens in 09-bad, and the Jets (shudder) in 2010. Then that crazy Ravens title game with the the near TD knocked away and the the...
The loss to the Bears was tough but expected. Our Super Bowl was beating the Dolphins in Miami 31-14. Always despised and still despise them. And Shula. Towards the end of the game all we were cheering for was for Walter Payton to get a TD. Dikta the jerk gave it to the Fridge. Sad! I always...

I don't know about board members but the place was packed with Pats fans. Mostly transplants.
For those of us New England transplants living in the Philly area there is a Patriot bar in the Philly area. It's called Smiths and it is on 19th St. between Market and Chestnut. The place was packed with Pats fans yesterday, most with Jerseys on (I had my Welker jersey on) About 5 or 6 Eagles...
