Eh, it's just a bunch of bullies and "cool kids" up there. I get called every name in the book and not a single thing gets done to those who hurl personal insults at me. But I disagree with the popular opinion and get exiled down here. As long as everyone sees my "I told you so's" when the...

So it's out of line to call someone a "little girl" after they have called you an "argumentative dick"? Can't say I agree. If anything, my responses have been quite tame compared to the amount of venom sent my way. Anyone being completely honest with themselves would agree with that statement.

What I am saying is that the media has changed over the past 50 years, and so has the NFL.

I disagree. If an individual working at the league office (who despises Belichick and despises the Patriots) orchestrated a sting operation to catch and punish them, and this whole thing came about as a result of that, then that most certainly has everything to do with the Patriots and should...

This is hilarious. I say it is confirmed the league office is part of the investigation and I got one person who doesn't believe me and then another person calling me slow on the up take and all I am doing is repeating something that everyone has known for months. BTW, the subject of this...

It was not mentioned in the original press release describing the investigation. It was most certainly not "always part of the investigation." Nice try at revisionist history there. (Actually it wasn't a nice try - it was a very lame effort and I expect better next time, little girl)

What part of "Roger Goodell confirmed my suspicions" are you not understanding?

I deduced this fact about 2 months ago and have since had it confirmed. While the term "corruption" is my own, Roger Goodell confirmed my suspicions and admitted two weeks again that "what (the league office) knew and when we knew it" was a part of the investigation.

Gimme a break. Cris Collinsworth could hardly go 5 minutes without telling us all about his interview with Tom Brady and the whole "look me in the eye, Tom!" routine he gave. And you must not have seen Kraft accept the trophy from Goodell or heard his quick speech. You could cut the tension...

Puhleeze. It was the highest rated Super Bowl because it was a fantastic game between two fantastic teams.

I think the media will enjoy going after the league office if it is shown that the league office acting inappropriately. That's actually a pretty big fish to fry.

Why do you say that? As others have mentioned, this whole controversy overshadowed the Super Bowl. I'd say the Super Bowl is a bit more of an attention-getter than the draft, wouldn't you?

Exactly. They don't want to see that repeated. Obviously they had zero control over the original report on this issue, so if they were going to exercise control over the release of the report (which I do not believe they will) then they wouldn't want a repeat of the Super Bowl where a major...

The draft is going to take place at a certain time no matter what and yes ESPN will be covering the selections. But that doesn't change the fact that the report would overshadow the goings-on.

You mean something like March Madness or, say, the Christian holiday celebrating the Resurrection? The NFL would not want to overshadow their own event with this controversy.
