NFL Concussion Issue - NYT Article

It's ok. I'll live. I think it's ok to have a discussion and not change opinions. By their very nature, they can't be "proven" right or wrong. When you've said your peace and there's no agreement, "agree to disagree" is usually not the end of the world, however... When opinions are met...

See what I mean? That wasn't even me! That was a different poster who I have no affiliation with whatsoever. And, for the record, I disagree with his stance on Curran. But I still wouldn't throw any of the insults at him that the "respected" posters here have.

So, not only do you endorse his personal attacks, you agree with them? And I'm supposed to take this as some kind of advice, right? This is about as transparent as Claremonster's feigned concern for poster's health, which is really just a pretense to get in some really, really personal...

Clearly I could give them, but why would a "pretentious prick" waste his time on you?

NFL Concussion Issue - NYT Article

So, it's 100% wrong but slightly true? :shrug_n: You, I, nor anyone else knows what the research that could have been done, and done properly, would eventually show if the NFL hadn't been trying to shut down or tamper with the results for all these years. It could be far worse than anyone...

NFL Concussion Issue - NYT Article

One small quibble with your post Hawg73... Since the NFL has spent the last 20 years denying and obfuscating, including disrupting, delaying, and misrepresenting research, nobody really knows the true dangers of playing football with regards to head trauma. So, the players can't really know...

This is awesome. I hope they all go down in flames. Let's see if they took their great ambassador of the sport, Chris Carter's advice and setup a fall guy.

Kraft ask Goodell for draft picks back

Too bad he didn't do it back when it might have made a difference.

    RIP Kevin Turner

RIP One of my favorite players back when Bledsoe was slinging it.

Can't Find the Old DG thread, so Here's A New One

Who the hell is Chris Russo and why should anyone believe the 1 millionth take on this story coming from him?

If I had claimed that he could successfully sue, you'd have a point. Which is why I said PFL made no points about anything I said. Because she kept arguing against a stance I haven't taken. You can know all kinds of things, and you can yell real loud, but when you're shouting down a point...

Kraft ask Goodell for draft picks back

Considering that he had already received that reply before the recent interviews, it's safe to say that, no, he doesn't get it. He doesn't get it at all. I just hope BB and TB get out before the next framegate comes down.
