    Pats Ink OT Victor Leyva

We (cincinnati) thought he provided decent depth when he was with us...but we have a pretty good offensive line. Ended up not having room for him. Don't know what Miami's take is.

Tedy may have a hole in his heart???

It doesn't have any bearing on the neurologic effects from the first event, but if that event was in fact caused by the defect...it means he's less likely to have another one after its closure.

Tedy may have a hole in his heart???

Interesting. It seems what they are talking about now is something called an atrial septal defect. For the anatomy challenged, basically your heart has 4 chambers...two atria on top, two ventricles on the bottom. There are walls (septa) between all four. The most common congenital heart anomaly...

Should the Patriots sign Charles Woodson?

From an article on ESPN.... "The only potential flaw in the Raiders' logic is that, for Woodson to have reached even a tacit agreement with another team, that team would be in violation of NFL anti-tampering rules. Even as a franchise player, Woodson and his agent are not permitted to discuss...

Should the Patriots sign Charles Woodson?

They can't have a deal in place. You can't deal with a RFA until free agency start, so having a deal in place would be a violation of the league tampering rules.

Pats: Bruschi Suffered A "Mild Stroke"

The symptoms are actually caused paradoxically by the lack, and presence of blood. In order for gas and nutrient exchange to occur, blood has to be in the circulatory system. Consider, for example, someone who is bleeding into their abdomen because of a lacerated spleen. The abdominal organs...

Pats: Bruschi Suffered A "Mild Stroke"

That quote was likely taken out of context by the writer. A stroke is a "major" thing any way you slice it. And for the record the doc wasn't quoted on the bit about TIA. The reporter grabbed that off WebMD to give his article a point.

Tedy Bruschi taken to mass General

Not trying to be the grim reaper, but unless I misunderstood something, autosomal dominant characters are passed at a rate of 50%. However, different genotypes of individuals can lead to variable penetrance of the trait.

NFL Countdown - Best NFL Players (By Position)

I tend to think that if Manning were in Brady's position, he would have just as many rings. Your team as a whole is clearly better than theirs.

    Out of the pro bowl

You guys had better hope he gets that groin in check, because that's the injury that kept him out in his last season here...he reinjured it every time he tried to play again.
