I think it's ok to have a discussion and not change opinions. By their very nature, they can't be "proven" right or wrong. When you've said your peace and there's no agreement, "agree to disagree" is usually not the end of the world, however...

And, for the record, I disagree with his stance on Curran. But I still wouldn't throw any of the insults at him that the "respected" posters here have.

You, I, nor anyone else knows what the research that could have been done, and done properly, would eventually show if the NFL hadn't been trying to shut down or tamper with the results for all these years. It could be far worse than anyone...

Since the NFL has spent the last 20 years denying and obfuscating, including disrupting, delaying, and misrepresenting research, nobody really knows the true dangers of playing football with regards to head trauma. So, the players can't really know...
