Bruins
Mark Recchi- A consummate pro and as a player just knows how to get it done at crunch time. Besides, you have to love those short, fat guys who can't skate or shoot all that well, but who have Hall of Fame credentials.
Patriots
Wes Welker- The little engine that could.
Celtics
Ray...
Love him.
And you know what, I didn't used to when he first came on board. (Not that anybody gives a s*** about what I think).
But now, I feel so foolish for bailing on him because he epitomizes the character and perseverence you want to see in everyone who plays professional ball.

But I had no knowledge of his personal story. That was well worth reading. Thanks again.
I woke up today and had breakfast at the INTERNATIONAL House of Pancakes. Because when you walk into the place you're just overwhelmed by that distinct worldwide feel. I had trouble with the complex "international" menu as it were, so I decided on the Flapjack d'Jour. My syrup steward helped me...
Further proof that bad things happen to good people.
I believe him when he says he'll come back...fail is not in his vocabulary. If he has any control of it, he will overcome.
Great message. You'll be missed, Wes.
