According to a recent KFFL report, the Bucs, Pats, and Pack are all bidding for the services of Marc Boerigter.

Chiefs fans are pretty fond of the guy. Most of us would like to have him back.

A comprehensive profile including no less than 8 video highlights is available at Warpaint Illustrated.

If you have to register, make sure you check your email preferences or you'll receive Chiefs updates once a month or so.... The video alone is worth the registration process - especially if the Pats sign this guy.

Green Bay is making a push to sign Marc Boerigter, the towering Kansas City free agent. With wide receivers in demand because the draft class is so poor and more than 20 already off the board, Boerigter's market value has been pushed up.

[...]

"He's a talented guy that can run," an AFC scout said. "At least he could run before the ACL two years ago. He played mostly special teams last year."

If Caldwell is a #3, trying to make the leap to a #2, then Boerigter could be summed up as a #4 trying to make the leap to a #3. From what I'm reading, these guys certainly have the talent to accomplish these goals.

Having Boerigter and Calwell could make fans forget about Dwight and A Davis next year...not exactly overwhelming...but typical Pats signings (if they can knab Boerigter).

Another one bites the dust....

The Packers agreed to terms Sunday on a one-year deal with Kansas City free-agent wide receiver Marc Boerigter, giving them another big target for the pure West Coast style of offense new coach Mike McCarthy intends to play. Boerigter's agent, Craig Domann said his client would sign the contract today.

Would you give a 4 for Moulds? Would the Pats? (I don't think I would - I tend to believe his skills are falling fast. But I'm no genius) - And wouldn't trading mean a huge cap hit with him?

Cheers, BostonTim
