I've begun a fundraiser for my brother from another mother, Big Steve.

One hell of an interesting man.

He passed away last week of complications from having both of his legs amputated.

He had no family to speak of so no services to pay our respects. He had lots of friends who he considered family though.

In the spirit of goodwill which the Christmas season is all about I ask that you read the story in the link and donate whatever you feel is appropriate.

Well, you know me and understand me better than most, that's as bad as it gets.

No imagine the myriad personalities from all walks of life I would attract. Now, imagine a poorly educated, Native American, Local 81 supporters, biker, thrash and death metal enthusiast. With what you understand about me, just imagine what his personality would have to be like for me to maintain friendship with this cat for 35 years.

Yeah, crazy and lost sometimes with a huge heart.

Yeah, he was special.
