I was in Vegas this past week and I was thinking about putting some money on the Pats for the Super Bowl. I checked out the odds early in the week (I believe it was Tuesday) and they were favored 6:1. When I went back and checked on Friday, they were favored 3:1. As far as I know, nothing really changed throughout the week as far as the Patriots roster or news (although I have to admit I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the news and internet).

I just thought it was interesting and couldn't figure out why the odds would change so much when nothing really big had happened last week.

I love the pats, but 3 to 1 seems unreal. Damn feel the love.

I would imagine that the odds changed cuz alot of bettors had the same thought you did and threw some dough down on the Pats. Odds dont generally reflect how good a team is..just betting trends.
