yup. I'm pretty surprised.

He is probably waiting for an offer from a real NFL franchise.

As time goes on, that SB appearance by Kaepernick and the Niners a few years ago is looking more and more like a flukey blip in SF's dumpster fire of a recent history ... pretty much since "Not So Fast" Eddie DeBartolo was stripped of team ownership.

Or, in other words, the Yorks don't know how to cheat the way Eddie did.

Still he could go there and suck in relative obscurity for a couple of years, and have DC on his resume, and then maybe get a DC job with a better team going forward.

Maybe BOB gave Vrabel the old wink-nod, promising him the job when RAC retires?
