OT: Comic Book Question for Annihilus

Hi Annihilus, From what I've read somewhere, you know alot about comic books. I can people alot about Albums and such, but know nothing about teh comics.. A guy came into the store, and traded this comic book for two used CD's (Metallica Black album, and Steely Dan-Aja.. Nice combo.. go figure) anyhow, if you'd be so kind as to just give me an idea if this is worth the $16.00 in Cd's the guy got, I'd be ever so grateful..

From the picture, it appears the book has a loose spine and slight yellowing of the pages. IMO, and without further inspection, it would be grade out between 3.5 to 6.5 depending on the remainder of the book.

Now, it appears to be a 1999 reprint that came with the Masterpiece Edition Set. http://www.comicspriceguide.com/p-indiv.asp?comicTableID=280937

It definitely is not part of the Famous 1st Edition series as those book were defined as "Treasury Edition" and over-sized than normal sized comics. http://www.comicspriceguide.com/p-indiv.asp?comicTableID=136850

So, is it worth the $16.00 in CD's, IMO, no.

It most definitely is a reprint. What I said was that the book was a reprint of a series that reprinted classic DC books.

So, it makes this book a reprint of a reprint.

Actually, without really looking at the comic, I figured between 65 cents and 2 bucks.

2 bucks would be robbery. Bet it wouldn't sell on ebay for a 0.01 buyout.
