Not a problem. It's better than waiting for water to boil, and then having the corn sitting in that shit for 10+ minutes after it's done. In the microwave, ZAP, and 2 minutes later - PERFECT. Then it's not too hot and not sitting in hot water whilst continuing to cook. I like my veggies to have its original color, not overcooked. Give it a shot and let me know what you think, because we steam all of our veggies in the microwave.
