Yeah, it was dumb of the Chargers to let him go. We had Eric Parker at the time who was a similar type of player for us and had already been playing for us. I've always liked Welker though. Dude is a baller.

I hate to admit it, but the Chargers let him go before he went to Miami. I believe he was an undrafted free agent. He had a great preseason and was already becoming a fan favorite. We were shocked when he didn't make the team.
