Animated GIFFS as attachments

Is there a way to post an attchement and have that attachement run as an animated GIFF?


Problem

I created an animated GIFF on my local system. I uploaded it as an attachement. I can get it to display as a GIFF by either the id or by a direct link but I can't get it to run the animation. It just displays the static image.

I saw this thread yesterday and tested it and it worked (I just added it as an attachment). It might be your .gif is too big?
