Drive for 18; Celtics Catch All Thread

The first exhibition game is tonight.

I know it's only pre-season but I'm psyched to see:

- KG and his supposedly healthier self

- Shaq for the first time in Greeen

- The new bench

Things I'm looking forward to this year:

- getting the stench of game 7 off our breath

- how the bench players adopt...Delonte, Daniels, one of the O'Neals, Baby, the rookies....there's a lot of depth

- Will Pierce and Allen be strong throughout the sesaon?

- Will JO avoid injuries? Bad start on that already....

The Cs have a real shot with the same core and more depth. In fact, of all the Boston teams, I think they have the most legit chance for a title.

Here's to Number 18 happening in June of 2011.

I think the Celtics will need some breaks, including excellent health, to make a real title run. However that said, they're still potentially the best team in the East.

I really want to see what Garnett is like 2 years removed from his knee surgery.

Definitely looking forward to this season. I think the Celtics have actually gotten better than last year with the additions of the O'Neals, Delonte, and Luke Harangody.
