And I'm certainly no LoMo apologist either. But I thought he had his best game last night, and it was unfortunate that the defense couldn't keep us in it. If the score had been closer, the Pats could have stuck with the running attack, which was really working quite well until they had to start playing catch up.

I thought Maroney ran very hard last night. He was decisive when he had to be, and patient when it was prudent. He also laid the smack down on some DB's, which is always nice to see.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come in December, because this team needs an effective running game to keep defenses honest. Last night, the Saints just dropped 8 into coverage more often than not, and just made things awfully crowded back there. It also didn't help that the 3 guys that did cross the line of scrimmage were actually making Brady move, and at times, hit him and sacked him.

But this is a thread about giving LoMo props. I hope he can keep it up.
 
Moris looked slow to the hole last night. I hope it's just being out of game shape.
