Moss/gameplan question

Moss always seems to disappear after the first quarter. Is it because the defense adapts to him, or is Tom just never looking his way anymore?! He seems to make one huge play early then never have a target again. Someone please explain what happens that suddenly makes him invisible..

How do you think Welker has 10 catches/game?

Sure Welker has ten a game but what changes that makes Moss not be able to have another big play here and there? Do Defenses give him more space early then tighten up late? Or do we just take the underneath stuff the rest of the way

Plus you'd figure at some point defenses would roll their coverage more towards Welker, which would then in turn open Moss back up a little bit. But yet, this doesn't happen for some reason. And then Brady tries to force throws to Moss which end up incomplete or picked in the end zone.
