New Laptop. Advice needed.

Alright,
I just sat down and spec'd out a Macbook Pro Retina (13 inch) with 16gb ram, i7 processor and 512 gb ssd.

It will come to around $2200.

My question is this: are there any alternatives to this configuration I should be looking at? I don't want anything larger than a 15 inch screen and probably prefer 13 or 14.

Oh and I am probably going to need to order this by tomorrow morning, so not much time to work with.

That sounds perfect. It's what I work with and I have no problems with the 13. It's the perfect size for travel, IMO.

Yeah I ended up ordering it this morning. Should be good.

Do you use it with OSX or windows? A lot of clients I work with run mb air with native Win 7 and love it.

I use OSX, but also the remote desktop client to log in to Windows if I need to. I don't miss Windows at all though.

Putting in i7 and more ram postponed the delivery until the 11th.
