You once asserted (and I lacked the capacity to challenge you but it seemed like you must have missed a variable somewhere because it didn't make sense to me) that the Earth's energy requirements could never be met by solar alone because the volume of rays hitting the earth's broadside was not enough even assuming perfect efficiency and an earth covered with panels. I did a quick scan of the thesis and he's claiming that he can obtain all the world's electricity, not total energy. I'll go through it in more detail when I get a chance and let you know what I think.
