I like the way he thinks, especially since after the Colts racked up 600 yds of O vs the Pats, they are still ranked 12th! There's more to football than individual stats.

It's interesting, but is there a place where he shows and explains the formula?

I've never cared for the idea of using yards as the only criteria for ranking offense and defenses. Turnovers and red zone scoring are far better indicators.

I didn't see the formula laid out, but he lists the stats used. I think this will be a running story this season, so updates to it should be available on Fox Sports web site.

So many times stats are way misleading. Sorry Dallas fans, but your D was not the best last year. No DL, no secondary (Besides Darren) They got there ebcause of yards. Friggin yards. I like how he thinks the rating should be on points (which c'mon....What elese evn matters?!) And red zone efficency....Good idea with it.
