That's a little known portion of the penalty from the NFL. The Pats have to play an extra game

The website schedule just doesn't list week 4. it's not noticeable unless you know they have the bye on that week.

We have to play 17, then the league gets to decide which game doesn't count. I am betting on the beat down of Indy.
