watched 2 minutes of NFLN and it was so bad I had to change the channel.

I liked the guy, he was a hell of a player and went through alot in his career. But it is kinda crazy.

I wish him luck in anything that he does, and I hope he has a good life after football.

Yeah, and now we get to listen to "Can the Packers win it all in 2008 to honor their fallen leader?" (He's not really "fallen" but I figure that's what they'll say.)
 
I woke up this (afternoon) morning to that lame-ass First and 10 show on ESPN and Skip Bayless, within 10 seconds of beginning to give his worthless and unwanted opinion, INSTANTLY turned the Favre retirement into a "black/white" issue. I wanted to puke.
 
Haven't read the posts in this thread (no time - work is crazy!) - but my sister emailed to tell me the news.

I know this won't be popular here, but I like Favre, and I'll miss him, and I wish him well.

First time HOFer, to be sure, and like it or not, the guy is likeable and one HELL of a QB!

The Packers franchise just won't seem the same without Brett.

I can live with all the media hype, cause he deserves it.

Someday, Brady and Manning will get the same.

I don't think peeps here dislike Favre as much as all the fawning over him,- for years- by the talking heads. The scrotum washing is over the top.

DOn't know why Brett was whining about not getting Moss, the Pack could have gotten Javon Walker pretty cheap.
