Patriots’ Kevin Faulk pleads no contest in La.....

The 32-year-old Faulk will have his five-month jail term suspended and given a one-year supervised probation with several conditions.

I guess the typical Mikeal Irvin "It was my cousins crack pipe" didn't work this time...I wonder if he'll even get suspended like the rest of the league does for alot less....or Bob will work something out with Goodell as usual to keep it low & out of the press...

NFL player's smoke pot, what a horrible crime -- Kevin Faulk should be lockedup and the key should be throw away..

Belichick* is doing a great job with this "Model Franchise"

Andrews - who was arrested in Lowell in February, two days after the Patriots' 17-14 loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII, and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute - was arrested yesterday by Mansfield police.

Now theres a great coaching move ... Lets wave him before he actually gets arrested on the field in a Patriot uniform...LMFAO!!!

Your boy Parcells knew LT was a coke head, why didn't he do something?

You don't know that ... and if he did...what coach turns in and exposes their players ?

A: none of them

do you really think he didn't know? everyone else did.

what differance does it make...alot of players were & still do drugs ... is it your trying to compare Parcells to Belichick* his student ?

There is no comparison...Parcells is and always will be respected throughout the entire NGL world as Belichick* lost every ounce of respect he had !!!!...that pretty much sums it all up...

why are you bringing up parcells in a NE Patriot Police Log thread ???

you make it sound as if the only team in the league that has these problems is the Patriots -- I gurantee every team in the league has guys using roids, hgh, smoking weed, doing oxi...you make it sound as if Belichick knows this is going on, yet the great Bill Parcells didn't know that LT was a coke head?

your right, every team does have a few of these guys...but guess what? the media doesn't try and bullshit the public into believeing & convince & sell their teams as "Model Franchises" either...

You will still hear after all this factual proof...that Chad Johnson could go the Patriots & Belichick* could control him in that system !!!!...and that a bunch of bullshit...Moss hasn't responded to losing yet & still showed his true colors week 16 last year disrespecting Jerry Rice & looking stupid doing it & recieving a retraining order from a 11 year friend...

The differance between the other teams & players 7 the Patriots is they immediatly get thrown right under the bus...but not the great ones !!!!...every single thing they ever do wrong gets squarshed or justified with bullshit & that my friend is $35+ Billion...yes $BILLION" dollars of payback positive media paid directly to Bob Kraft* and his plan.

Here's the thing, the Patriots don't control what the media says -- Belichick hardly talks to them, do you think he hands them all this 'model franchise' stuff?

I know alot about marketing & PR and promotional campaigns...yes the Patriots PR people put all those talking points out their to put what they wanted you to believe into your heads...Bob Krafts office & marketing skills are 2nd to none in the NFL...and extremely new to this league...

there has never been a smarter business man in the NFL, Kraft knew exactly what he needed to do to succedd & he did it...for 15 yrs sitting in the stands planning to buy this franchise as a present & challenge to himself he built a winning plan...

when his opportunity came, he bought the Patriots, he persued his plan , accomplished it and was rewarded for it...money can buy you love...don't let anyone tell you differant..this is just 1 example of obvious major preferential treatment

Therick...class acts like Manning get thrown under the bus as labeled a "Choker' and because he lost in Gillette were they blatently got away with referee favortism cheating...

yet Tom Brady has literally played like shit throwing INT's to lose post season games the last 3 seasons since 2004 & choked against the Giants in maybe the biggest History making game in decades & nothing...not a single negitive word...

Tom Brady & this model classy suit & tie type franchise the Bullshit media try to sell us for Bob Kraft has Danced in disrespect on San Diego's Logo, Spiked the ball at Colts stadium on the Logo and Tom Brady winning 42-7 with minutes to go scores a TD and spikes the ball in disrespect of Joe Gibbs & the Redskins smashing helmets like an asshole

and not a single negitive press story...but will still hear how classy they are & under control in the Belichick* system...yet Terrell Owens was trashed for years & so bad it sticks to him today for disrespecting the Cowboys logo ?

Why is that ?....preferential treatment due to Bob Kraft & $ 35 Billion in network contracts secure many jobs till 2012

Bob Kraft negotiated these contracts all by himself? no other owner in the league has money or infleunece?

Nope...Bob Kraft lead all these negotiations...I posted this article a few times...read the whole thing...heres just a paragragh...my favorite is how started a finance committee & was the 1st to benifit & his franchise was awarded $150 million to most of the leagues maximum of only $100 million...must be nice to make the rules so you win... Hah!!!

Influential voice

Kraft's fellow owners said he played a major role in 1998 negotiating the NFL's eight-year, $17.6 billion television deal, the richest broadcast contract in sports history. Bowlen, who chairs the broadcasting committee, said Kraft recently helped renew deals with CBS and Fox worth $8 billion through 2011 and is working on similar renewals of the Monday night and Sunday night television contracts with Disney, which owns ABC and ESPN.

Kraft also helped close a five-year, $3.5 billion deal for DirecTV's ``Sunday Ticket" package and a seven-year, $220 million pacts with Sirius Satellite Radio, which is run by Kraft's friend, Mel Karmazin, who was president of CBS during the 1998 contract talks.

With the NFL eager to complete negotations in 1999 to place an expansion team in Houston, it was Kraft who stepped in with Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson. The pair approached Houston businessman Bob McNair, who had expressed little interest in paying more than $650 million for the new franchise. Write a check for $700 million, Kraft and Richardson told McNair, and you can own both the franchise and the rights to the 2004 Super Bowl.
