I left in November 69. Got sent to Antartica for 6 months then 2 months in New Zealand before going home.Looked it up. It was released in April '69, the very month I returned home from my 3rd tour.

It was a great way to get 2 months paid in New Zealand. I had some skills that made the Antarctica trip something they gave me a great bonis for.from 2+ years in Vietnam straight to 6 mos in Antarctica. Man in personnel got a sick sense of humour.

Many bands have past on. Some by there own doing. We all have different reasons for the bands / music we chose to connect with.Sad.

From the south groups like the Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels Band, ZZ Top - all those guys were superb.
