Indeed, and Johnny Rivers does a great cover of "Positively 4th Street" on an excellent Rivers album which spawned this gem:

You bet Pneumonic, sweet stuff by Johnny Rivers from way back when.

This is one I remember so very well from when I was going to school in Boston in the fall of '72:

Oh, yeah. Top notch Steely Dan ... and they had a ton of awesome music.

Here's Nilsson doing "One" that 3 Dog Night made famous.

Motown slow jam.

Beagle, that is indeed a great tune from Smokey Robinson.

That one reminded me of this one, another melodic "soft cruiser:"

My uncle brought this album with him from Europe when he came to live with us back in the early 70's. I was ~10 at the time and loved the hypnotic beat and couldn't believe a song could be the entire length of an album side.

For some reason , when I woke up this morning this song was playing in my head, the Bob Welch version of "Future Games". Some interesting comments below the video about Bob Welch and his time with Fleetwood Mac:

Song: It Doesn't Matter

More of the sublime excellence that Stephen Stills regularly produced.

The Band doesn't appeal to everyone. But there are those of us that like them, and this song is one reason why.

Love the Band, glad they are in the RRHOF. Loved a lot of Robbie Robertson's solo career too - "Ghost Dance" is hauntingly beautiful:
