There was a thread for the halftime show but nothing about the commercials that I saw. I know a lot of people were complaining about the commercials this year but I thought there were some pretty good ones. Bud Light ran away with it IMO with the jousting commercial. My house was going nuts when the Mountain made his appearance.

There was one commercial that had us all laughing, completely unintentionally. It looked like a mideval setting and we all just assume it was a Bud Light commercial. That assumption did change until the very end when it turned out to be a Game of Thrones preview.

Yeah, that's the one. It was kind of a joint commercial with Bud Light and GOT.
 
I thought they were lame but I didn't see all of them. Halftime show was awful too.
 
When Super Bowl ads first became a thing, the ad agencies made the effort to produce quality commercials. Now they are totally unmemorable or in bad taste. Very few are worth the hype. Too bad. It used to be the one time you wanted to see commercials!
 
Mint Mobile "Chunky Style Milk" had us laughing.....

My wife and got a good chuckle out of the mint mobile commercial.. chunky milk? That's just wrong...

How American is it that a video about commercials gets interrupted by commercials?
 
You know what I miss? I miss the Bud Bowl. I remember being almost as excited for that as the actual game.

It was almost always much closer and much more exciting than the actual game.

I miss it too.

The beer it’s selling sucks ass, but the Bud Bowl needs to come back!
