I like songs where the meaning changes at the bridge, and the third playing of the chorus, using the identical words of the first 2 times the chorus plays, has a totally different meaning. This song totally changed for me on the last word.

Besides, it was the 60's and it beat the hell out of Yummy Yummy Yummy I've Got Love in my Tummy and Down in the Boondocks
