I can see how discord cannot be tolerated. At the same time, he fired the guy who has been improving the team steadily. The Dolphins had one winning season out of the last ten prior to Flores. After his first season, both of Flores' seasons were winning ones, and the team was especially getting better this season. The dolphins won 8 of their last 9 games, losing only to the #1 seed.
Not saying they are a superpower, but the needle was definitely moving in the right direction. Ross is an idiot.

All bb's coaches are brought along to be versatile If Bill thinks Flores would be better and Flores were interested, SB would maybe take a demotion and like it.

IIRC, Billl still hasn't given Steve the DC job officially. I take it that that might reflect BBs caution, being not sure yet. So moving to anothe assistant coaching position wouldn't necessarily be a demotion. And do you really believe that SB doesn't BELIEVE that dad will do what DAD HIMSELF is best for the team. But aside your B hate while you contemplate this.

Why did Steve exactly do to earn his position as play caller? Do you think any other team besides the Patriots would have him in this position? I mean I think these are fair questions right now given the state of the defense.

WTF are you talking about??? Demote his son?? Steve is NOT the DC. This was already explained to you, he is a POSITIONAL coach. Mayo would be the senior guy on the defensive staff and he too is a positional coach.

Did you read the article? He is calling the plays. Bill gave him credit for slowing Brady down in the Tampa game. He may not have the official title which is not unusual for our org structure but he is doing the job of the DC.

And he may be HC material one day but he's not there yet imo. This is only his 3rd year coaching. His brother, Deron, is a Pats Asst. Training and Conditioning coach.
