Data-driven decision-making is science and art.
So you would agree that the eventual results of this draft fall squarely on the shoulders of Bill?
And if the picks turn out well, will you give Bill credit for this draft?

Obviously????? If this is sarcasm I apologize but You haven't even seen him running a route in a patriot uniform yet. He could suck, he could be Tyreek Hill 2.0. we have no idea. Not sure how anything is obvious at this point.Yes. Obviously. It wasn't one of BB's best sign-offs...

I'm I skeptic. I don't believe that's what you hope.Hope we can all say the same about all of these picks once the season comes.
Of course, likewise if it's bust will you give him criticism? And if the picks turn out well, will you give Bill credit for this draft?
And I don't care what you think.I'm I skeptic. I don't believe that's what you hope.
I tend to be pretty lenient on draft "failure" just because the hit rate is so low and the sample size is so small. I mean, even in the first round the hit rate (depending on how you define it) is probably in the 25 - 50% range - and if it's closer to 50% you're defining "hit" pretty generously, and would wrap in guys like Michel and Wynn as hits - and much worse late in the round where Belichick pretty much always drafts.Of course, likewise if it's bust will you give him criticism?
Yup. It was Harry.I thought BSF was referring to Harry but I could be wrong.
AH, thanks. That would make sense.I thought BSF was referring to Harry but I could be wrong.
If only we could find a sleeper in the draft like the bears. I remember this guy slotted at #200 on pff draft rankings.
Bears throwing Velus Jones "into the fire pretty quick"
Wide receiver Velus Jones never played a high-profile role in the passing game during his first five college seasons, but he caught 62 passes at Tennessee last year and the Bears have high hopes for what that will mean in their offense.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
Like Meyers, or more like Edelman? If only we could find a sleeper in the draft like the bears. I remember this guy slotted at #200 on pff draft rankings.

In the 4th or 5th. He wasn't lasting anywhere near 200 even on the mocks.I remember he was one of your binkies...
Absolutely correct. The draft weenies scream, "WTF are they doing??? He was no more than a second rounder! We're screwed!" Well, if the guy ends up being a real, contributing player, which often happens, no one remembers or cares where TF he was drafted nor do they remember.the guy drafted after him whom we could have had who ended up a bust. It's all such hindsight, phony BS. It's particularly disappointing when usually responsible media people get caught up in and engage in that absolute nonsense. And it happens all the time.I'm absolutely OK with drafting this WR...he was overdrafted, but, whatever. As long as he produces, I'm cool with it.
Disaster. If only we could find a sleeper in the draft like the bears. I remember this guy slotted at #200 on pff draft rankings.

How quickly they forget.Like Meyers, or more like Edelman?
Well, I mean, how often is often enough to find sleepers? How quickly they forget.
