Oh, GBC for sure. Yesterday I woke up to 4 degrees. This morning we had freezing rain in the upper 20s. Tomorrow we have a chance for thunderstorms in the middle 50s. No white Christmas for us.

Meh. It doesn't feel like a holiday to be honest. Not happy, but not down in the dumps, either. Like I told TG, it feels like it could be March 7th. :shrug:
No shopping this year. It's all going to charity. Last I heard they're going to start John's second round after Christmas. With any luck, he'll be out of the hospital when the Cali family is visiting after New Year.
Work vacation? What's that? Half of the office is off and these last two weeks of the year are always slow, so it's almost like a vacation.

Just got my semester grades. Want to guess what I got?
Had my last one last night. I think I did okay. The fun thing is that I'm on the upswing of a very nasty bug that hit me right before my first final. I don't know if it was food poisoning or what, but great googly moogly...it was violent. At least I can keep water down now!
but the good news is the ice storm has gotten rid of all the ladybugz at least for 6 months

for the first time RI didn't feel like 'home', even getting together with old friends there was a distance (plus the one i most wanted to see, well)
after 2 days i was ready to go home to SD
plus it was cold and the Pats game against the Steelers was cold and rain
a good trip none-the-less, spent lots of time with my dad and sister, it confirmed that my life is good right where i am.
