Since it wasn’t divulged where the cancer was, I’m suspecting, it’s probably uterine and she had a hysterectomy. I’m really making a lot of assumption still. But I can see why they wouldn’t want to make that part private. Wishing her a speedy recovery and cancer sucks.

Or ovarian. Sounds like they found it early and the prognosis is reasonably good. Cancer does suck.
Kate seems like a genuinely good person. Godspeed to her.

Just because she is a Royal doesn't make her diagnosis any more important than someone who does her laundry.

Absolutely. Just I like her ok, and its news and it's sad news. And I wish her the best. And Alk wouldn't be caught dead doing her laundry.

I was completely disgusted with the media's obsession with her whereabouts, only to find out this was the reason why. People are entitled to their privacy.

I think that in a lot of ways her being Royalty does make this diagnosis more important.
In an era where class is something that’s sorely lacking from most mainstream figures from what I’ve seen she demonstrates everyday. She provides an example of grace to the world. Maybe on the inside or in private she’s completely different, but in public she exemplifies grace and class. It’s important for society to have people who exude these things. Just as her mother in law did. She has a major platform, and seems to use it to provide an example of what everyone should be striving for. Attempting to have a healthy grounded family.
With this diagnosis she’s giving hope to millions who also are suffering. That type of thing is important.
I felt upset hearing this news, because people in society who present the things she does are few and far between. My prayers are with her.

Her body double isn’t nearly as good looking as she was. R.I.P.

Thanks for posting, HS. I am perfectly aligned with the sentiment of this article. She restored order and dignity to the royal family after years of Charles doing what he could
to blemish them all. QEII didn't help much; she rarely said a public word and seemed like she had modest control over him. Kate was a breath of fresh air who is exactly what was needed.
