Beat the Freaking Bills Game Thread

BB just bitch slapped a reporter who asked him about resting starters

"What?? it's the Bills they're 5 and 3. We're playing for 1st place, you don't rest your starters. You don't rest when you're playing for first place. Come on".

RavenBHee
was it :4321: Tomase??? :cuss:

did BB run down from the podium and give him a double lobster purple nurples???

Nicely executed, well coached game.

Felt like 2001.

I'll take it.

I like the Cassel improvement, but more than that.

Where do I join the Mayo fanclub? I am continuously amazed at our ability to pull players out of nowhere and turn them into would-be probowlers. When it's most needed, too.

I wouldn't exactly say that they pulled Mayo out of nowhere he was the 10th overall selection in the draft so it's expected of him to contribute, now Guyton, BJGE and wilhite to an extent fit that mold of players who nobody had ever heard of coming into training camp and here they are contributing significantly to the team and being key instruments in the pats victory.

A good game.

Gold stars for Welker, Benji, Cassel, Mayo, Wilfork

Turd burgers for Gostkowski, O'Neil, 4th quarter kick coverage

1. Nice win!

2. Controlled the game with all those long drives. You want better finish,
but there's a lot to love about consistently moving the offiense.

3. I loved BB's coaching in every way. The end of the game mgmt was
> perfect.

4. That was, by far, the most time a NE QB has had in the pocket since the
AFC Champ game last year. This is the biggest take-away for me.

5. Moss does not look like himself. I'm guessing he has a somewhat real
foot injury. Very little separation on long routes.

6. Cassel....he really did everything right. Nice work.

7. As I suspected they would, they confused and confounded Edwards. I was surprised
just how bad Buffalo's running attack was. Lynch is pretty good. Weird.

8. Very nice effort for Law Firm.

9. The glaring negative: Kicking game and kick coverage. Both are VERY
addressable, though.

10. Mayo = first PLAYER the Pats have drafted in a long time.

And a bonus: Gaffney with a bad penalty, a drop on a catchable but tough
pass and not driving for a first down. After last week, we needed a bit
more out of him today. Yup yup, they won. Yippee. But we need the 2007 Jabar.

I am convinced that BB said to Deltha at the beginning of the season

"Listen, just don't get hurt will ya? we need all the veteran bodies on the field in the secondary as possible and gawd forbid Harrison goes down on IR, capisce? so play soft, keep everything in front of ya and make the occational INT to look good and we're Green, OK?"
