Bennett Turned Down A Pats Extension before the season

The body of your post contradicts the title. Did he turn it down last week or before the season?

nm, saw your correction, will fix title.

Can't blame him if that's what they have always wanted to do. I think he likes winning and would settle for a little less cash, than he might get offered somewhere, to be on a winning team. I suppose the seachickens qualify.

It might not be Marty that does the moving on.

When is Michael's contract up?

When is Michael's contract up?

After the 2017 season. If the Patriots win this year, I mean, Bennett (Marty) could command a big contract (Although I don't know that a post-30 TE will make more than $7mm/yr anywhere, especially Seattle, who's bordering on cap jail, and is already paying Jimmy Graham) elsewhere, but there's a possibility he stays for a couple of years, and drafts Michael to Foxboro, where rings are won.

And I would ****ing love Michael Bennett here, I don't care if he's 50 years old. That dude can ****ing ball.
