Bullies can bully with no issue of getting in trouble, but...

dchester and bmooney's stories seem to be pretty good in my book.

I was a scrawny, short kid in school but was never bullied, so I don't have a real card to play. I wasn't especially cool, but I was a-ight, I guess.

in d's case: **** yeah. stand up for yourself. If I were a dad, I can't imagine getting mad over an otherwise good kid getting in trouble for such things. Kids.

bmooney has a ****ing great solution. They is literally no better way for am awkward kid to make friends and reduce pulpations and gain self-worth than putting him self out there.

Respek.

the key is the nose, I do not care who you are if you get hit in the nose your eyes water, get hit hard enough and blood flows.

Linderman.....Is that you?

I took my fair share of bullying in my younger days. I had guys on my school bus 2 and 3 years older than me that would grab hold of my underwear and try to pull it up over my head when I was in about 3rd or 4th grade.

About 7th grade I had pretty much become fed up with dealing with those who were doing the bullying. So I dragged my dad's old rusty free weights out of the attic and started working out regularly. Somewhere between 8th and 9th grade, there was no more bullying being directed my way. Bullies have a habit of leaving those bigger than them alone.

And I wasn't perfect in school. I wouldn't say that I ever bullied anyone but I certainly had the "kids will be kids" moments where I was not always decent and respectful.

These kids that do the bullying....if I had to guess, many of them likely have problems at home and have not had the best of upbringings.

This is...and will be a big pet peeve of mine with my kids. I have been drilling it into my 6 year old's head from day one...."Be nice to everyone". I tell her if the other kids at school are picking on someone, that doesn't mean you need to join in on it. I think I actually worry more that my kids may become the bully versus the victim. But I'm sure there will come a day.

See, I didn't know you until you were a junior in HS, but just going from that I'd say there was a decent mix of "reasonable liklihood that you were keeping a list" and "strong liklihood that you would one day own a large portion of your states GNP and/or a high powered rifle and severe mental problems." :D

But that was sort of past the typical bullying time span. Also, you played football, so most of the usua suspects or their friends would get to know that you were a good egg right away.

Contrast to me, who strolled into the football locker room with my toenailes painted pink and baby blue with smiley faces on the big toes. I practically begged for it.

Bullying, that is. Sickos.

Oh, but more importantly, I can't see the fb video link. Can someone link a youtube or summarize a decent set of search terms?

Okay, there's the fight. What happened as the lead in and follow up, then? The big kid got in trouble, I get that - where's the story?

being a Mom is stoopid and no fun.:sulk:
:shake:

Even assuming that you're joking, I have to put you on ignore now.

I mean, I got my wife to let all my kids blow off school, each cheesecake for breakfast, and dance like we're insane to Cee Lo Green this morning. No fun? Pfft.

:shake:

(Being a *DAD* is fun!)

Little Bully gets ass kicked, what do you all think

I saw this video a few days ago and now the local media is picking up on this story

http://offthebench.nbcsports.com/20...ys-mom-wants-casey-the-punisher-to-apologize/

An Australian kid became an Internet sensation on Monday when a YouTube video of him striking back against a bully went viral. Now the mother of the bully, a seventh-grader, wants sixteen-year-old Casey Heynes to apologize for body-slamming her son. But more on that below.

Casey is now a hero in much of the world, and has his own fan Facebook page, several other fan sites, and has been dubbed Casey the Punisher by his admirers. And of course with great fame comes your own Next Media Animation recreation. After that, I have some updates on the story. But first, enjoy:

MY only question is

After the bully hits the pavement another bigger kid tries to intervene then a girl steps in but the kid still looks like he is going after him then the video ends. WTF?popcorn I wanted more

good question. He IS going after him. But he stood and stared at him a good long time and the Terminator styared back then casually walked away. So I say the Kid was posturing and wanted no part of him. He'd have been on him already if he had ir in him.

And I hope you know Iz just kidding around. I screw up like that ALL the time and as usual just couldn't pass up on the low hanging fruit. I got a weak character and I was just out for the cheap giggles. My Bad.

cheers

This reminds me of another thing my dad told me. Never start a fight but always finish one. The moment you walk away he is going to think he can push you around . Your never do anything to start it.

so now the bully is claiming the Casey bullied him first? The bully wasn't even remorseful at first! Keep trying little kid, you got you butt kicked and now you are trying to justify your attack.

Another reason I am glad I've always been a huge bish.

No one messes with a huge bish.
