BOU is in Sydney chilling in downtown
United did some booking that left him with a frown
No matter he's got great friends here
So he extended his holiday to spend it with people dear.

Sure many these rhymes do dread
But this pre-draft ditty will add to his cred.

The Pats have 12 big picks in this here draft
Gonna cut into the booze budget of Robert Kraft
What will you do with all those picks?
Maybe trade a few for players just for kicks?
You get more shots at the lottery is true
But just a few busts will leave BB blue
Many don't like him but he does have a clue
But one truth remains when the season is through

The Bolts will be there in the post-season
to go the distance and for no other reason
Sure we don't have a jillion picks
but we'll strike football gold with our new swingin' d--ks
You'll need every pick to be perfect just to compete
Assuming you actually get to us without getting beat
This year it might be the Fins that own your division
Or the Jets who usually earn scorn and derision
Might be the Bills that turn out the best
its just hard to say when it's not the AFC West.:jester:

Here's to the draft and a moment of football
an audience full Jets fans, retarded and all
you guys should have a lot of fun watching
BB and company hopefully doing some botching

To make my couplets scan and rhyme

But on this board ofttimes I find
Charger chants that I don't mind.

Bolts' schedule is tough and the West has improved
With Cutler out of Denver and to K.C. Pioli moved
The Chargers will find things not quite so easy
Even the Raiders should be better (but Al Davis will still be wrinkled and wheezy)
And I'm still waiting for The Norv's composure to break
Since head coach material I don't think he makes
Merriman injured, LdT whining and crying, something like that
Will arise to kill Bolts fans' hopes and make them fall flat
10-6 is around what I figure for them in that division
And that will prove detrimental to their mission
For on the road they'll find themselves, in Heinz or Lucas or Gillette
Where a season-ending bitchslap is what they'll probably get

DS is enjoying the crap out of the Bs, Cs and Sox, and looking forward to the Pats opener against the Bills, right now. As someone who doesn't follow college football at all, and who recognizes that the "grades" given out immediately after the draft often look a lot different than those given out a few years later, I'm not as revved up about the draft as many football fans. I'll tune in here and there and read everything there is to read about the Pats picks, but that's about it.

I'll tell you one thing, though. One of the best pieces of news of this current off season for this Charger Hater was that LDT re-signed with your boys. I can't think of a fan base and a player that more deserve each other!

Last, you're right. I aint got time for rhymes...except that one.
