I figured we needed a thread for when the expected apology comes from Chris Mortensen to the Patriots and their fans.

In the meantime, please enjoy the following which was taken directly from Mort's Wikipedia page.

On August 28 Chris Mortensen claimed on a Radio Station that Robert and Jonathan Kraft have apologized to him. Mortensen's claim in this regard has been rejected by Robert Kraft, Jonathan Kraft and the Patriots organization, who have stated that they have nothing to apologize to him for.[11]

Mortensen had no response on September 3, when The Deflategate ruling was vacated by Judge Berman. He has yet to comment about the case and has yet to answer to why his journalistic ethics did not come into play during the entire case. He is widely considered the most "ignorant piece of garbage" at ESPN based on a poll conducted by SNS Analytics. A recent study also found that four out of five dog owners would rather let Micheal Vick dog sit their family pet rather than read another report by Chris Mortenson.

Mort told the morning show he would come on after the court case was complete, when called he said the appeal is taking place so he will wait until that is over.


a good point made on his standing was Mort is a NFL guy who was not on BSPN yesterday, to me that speaks volumes.

Mort will be sh!tcanned soon, when is his contract up, and hopefully then, when he is no longer working for Newspeak he can sing like a song bird about the BS that exist.

Are you just ripping, or is this legit?

So Mort can't go on the air because of "ongoing litigation" to which he is not a party?

Or is he actually and truly employed by the NFL and not just an outside league ball washer?

legit, according to Minehan who claims to have called him and was joking he would ask Mort to be on in Sept 2017.

now he didn't claim why other than the case was on going. it also means he is a coward.
