Giants want to talk to Pioli

Annihilus wants to talk to Milla Jovavich.

But he thinks he's said that once already today.

Didn't Pioli just turn down like $3 mil a year that the Seahawks offered him?

I can see Pioli moving to the Giants. It's his dream job, and he's from the area.

I can also see him staying put in New England, knowing he's got a good thing going here.

It depends on how much money they throw at him, and how badly his ego wants to be the #1 Guy In Charge.

Now, here's a question: would he be more likely to leave or to stay if the Pats win the SB again? On the one hand, I can see it reinforcing the idea that this is a great situation for him; on the other hand, I can see him saying, "Geez, four Super Bowls in six years in Foxboro... how much can I really do there?" :choices:

Never been to either.
New England Clam Chowder, of course.
Brady half-drunk and hobbling on one leg is better than Eli.
BB half-drunk and... well, you get the point.

On the OTHER hand... Is Pioli getting sick of hearing, "Belichick, Belichick, Belichick"? Would he like to see if he can build a team without Belichick and Brady? If so, wouldn't that further his reputation? If not, then, hell, he'll still have boatloads of money and be living close to home, right? I can see both sides...

Per NFL Network.

Giants sought permission to interview Scott Pioli, and it was granted.

Pioli then declined to be interviewed.

Scott is my new hero

Really? That is cool. It doesn't mean he's not interested, props to him for waiting.

Heck if you help mix the koolade, wouldn't you drink some too!
