OK Pats fans and fellow Planeters: My wife is taking me to the promised land tomorrow for my birthday. I have never been to Foxborough on a non gameday. We are staying the night right at Patriot Place and we have reservations for the game at CBS Sportszone. I know we are def going to the Hall and the proshop...anything else I need to see/do/eat? We are pretty sure that we are hitting up "I love This Bar" for the live entertainment tomorrow night....after that we are open for suggestions.

Hey PFR, no suggestions, just sayin' hi and glad to see you post!

Thanks! I've been lurking....but with my Master's classes, my internship and a 2 year old I do not post very often...

How was your trip to Gillette? What did you do and see?

I might be going to the next 3 pats game. My buddy has a extra ticket to the texans game. I have to see if I have the day off. Since I request the Niners & my vacations down to Florida off.

BB, we had a great weekend. We got down there around 4:45 and did some shopping. I am pretty sure we drove past the team on their way to the airport. (Who else has four chartered busses and a statie escort? We ate dinner at Bar Louie's. The atmosphere was great, the service was great and the food was great! We sat two young ladies who "may" have been members of the Patriot cheerleading squad. We watched two of the Superbowl games and the SEC championship game there. After dinner we did a little window shopping. Then we went to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar---OMG the Daisy Dukes! The band was really fun too!

We stayed a the Marriot on the 5th floor on the backside with an amazing view of the stadium. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel. Then we went to the Hall. We were literally the only ones in the entire place for the movie, which was EXCELLENT, I got chills, multiple times. After about 2 hours in the hall we went down to the pro shop. What a different experience from the typical game day! There were like 10 people in the entire shop!

After the Pro Shop (and a new away A-Hern Nike jersey and some gifts for my family) we went up to the CBSSportzone to watch the game. We sat a table away from "Mr. Freeze". The atmosphere was game day like and the crowd was right into the game. Just a great birthday weekend!
