And now for the rest of the story Marty Wilde Charted at number 2 in great Britten same time (1959) that the original version by Dion and the Belmonts was on the us Charts.

Marty went from 50's style rock to participate in the British Invasion. Here is Marty Wells with Abergavenny which he rcorded under the name Shannon. Having a real good time with it.
