There was some analysis by folks on the other forum, a couple who seemed to know a little about WR play, that pointed at the rookie being in learning from your mistakes mode on this play.
 
I think Brady just saw an opportunity to catch them w/12 men.

It was a rule that Polian wanted "re-emphasized" after they played the Jets early in the year, I think. Should've been 12 men on the field, but that crying loser strikes again.

Actually, this is one that is in response to the Colts who used to do this a lot to opposing defenses. Jets burned the Colts on one like it that didn't get called and had Dungy's panties all bunched. :LOL:
