Not directed at you TD420 - but comments like this irk me, and I know I'm probably biased and in the minority.

But I know the guys at Good Sports and they are good people with a good cause. Trying to promote an event (backed by fan fave 33 no less) to the people who are most likely the most interested i.e. Pats Fans. What's the problem? They're providing a service - Patriots-related news and events! So you're not interested, fine, move along. But why knock these guys? It's for ****ing charity! And based on the view count, people are interested. What's the deal....?

Just my 2 worthless cents,
but while it is for a good cause, and a good opportunity for a Pats fan.
The Poster should have contacted Admin,or a Mod to post, IMHO.

With that said,for 2 bucks why not,Trip of a lifetime !

Nice prize. Not so sure about "local pubs" in Wembley being part of a prize, though. :insane:

Fixed....:toast:

I agree that this isn't inappropriate, but not because it's for charity. It's because any one of us could have legitimately posted the exact same thing.

Anyway, I fixed it in a couple places:

The tickets are $2.00 per ticket with a minimum purchase of 5 tickets. In other words, tickets are $10 each - there's no difference in your probability of being selected than if every 5 tickets were 1 ticket since no one can have less than 5.The grand prize includes two (2) tickets to the Patriots Sunday, October 25, 2009, game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London England along with a meet and greet with Kevin Faulk. one team in London, one in Scotland, the rest on the Continent ..

Great idea, but fell short of the mark tho.

FWI London isn't the be all and end all, nice if you live there but a pain in the rear if your North , (or above the Watford Gap to Londoners), East or West of London
