Hooman no more

Shit, I liked Hooman. But the guy that puts the names on the jerseys is probably out on a bender right now.

If his head is in the game this Hicks kid can play. He's likely a 4-3 DT in this scheme. Coach him up, Bill.

I liked him, as well. Makes sense why he was inactive last week.

I do also, listening to the broadcasts of Saints games you always here the name Akiem Hicks from Joe Buck

I don't know what the problem is here. It's obvious to me that with all these future picks being traded away for current players that BB is all in for this year. SB Baby!

A 325 lb DE/DT is just what we need to shore up the DL.

Probably figured it's only a matter of time before harbawl got him outlawed as a participant in OMGzzzz formations!!

We didn't give up a pick here, though. As far as the other late round picks we've given up, we have a number of compensatory picks coming to us, so we really haven't given up all that much.

Not really, we're really only getting rid of 6th rounders and the Pats will probably get 3 compensatory picks in the 6th round anyways that they can't trade. If Hicks leaves in FA the pats will qualify to get another compensatory pick. Essentially, worse case is you traded your 4th TE for a rotational DE + a comp pick. BB with the checkers chess etc. move

Yes I understand the Hooman trade isn't the same as a pick and that the compensatory picks are being used as trade bait now but look at the big picture and you'll get my position on what BB is doing - quickly recognizing the team's flaws and doing what he can to correct those flaws right now. The bye week now is a huge advantage to catch these players up quickly; no vacation for any of these new guys. There's only 1 reason in my mind that BB would make all these significant changes 3 wks into the season.

SB Baby.

People scoffed when I said BB was all in last year, too. As it turned out he was. Revis, Ayers et al. BB is all in now too, mark my words. :archive:

I've been KTs biggest supporter since before that draft so I hope he's back, too. He is my boy after all. Imho, KT will be on speed dial if he's needed and if not he's been assured of a futures contract this off season. No inside info at all, just what my gut is telling me.

They needed a guy in case something disastrous happened to Edelman or Dobson. He could at least kind of run routes even if he'd never get the ball thrown to him.

Now they have Keshawn Martin. They don't need a scrub who can't play.

Thompkins is finally gone, our long national nightmare is over, and hopefully we'll never, ever have to hear his name ever again, and he can go join Mark Harrison in exile.
