Got a nice surpise $500 bill for my car. Needed new spark plugs , 02 censor , valve seal & oil change . what pissed me off. I had the o2 sensor replaced 2 years ago.

Subaru's are known for valve seal leaks and 02 sensor issues. Subaru?
 
Its a 07 Chevy Aveo. I knew spark plugs would need to be changed soon. Since Monroe put in cheap spark plugs 2 years ago. o2 sensor is big issue. That's 3rd time it had to be replaced. I was sold a bad 1 from advanced. That ruined my cat. Had to get it & other o2 sensors replaced.

I brought the car used for 1,800 116 ,000 . a lot of cost have been recommended general mantience. The only parts unexpected repairs was new cat , o2 sensors , rebuilt starter & thuttle body

Yeah, they're worthless af...I know people who cut them out. Some of them are easy to do that on. The honeycombs in them go bad after a while.

If you live in a state that has inspections your screwed. It's illegal for any shop to remove them. I know people who said tbey replaced it with straight pipe

Yes. Straight pipe...

Those bastids start a LOT of fires in the summer if you drive in the fields, mountains, etc. They burn very hot.

I don't have any of equipment to remove it. So I had to pay to replace it. When I didn't know my first o2 went bad from advanced . So I had to replace both my o2 sensors & cat. I used the warranty on upstream
