So you would have applauded dealing him after 2019’s season heading into camp during the pandemic where owners were set to bleed cash?

How many teams acquired a player from
another team that wanted 17 mil per moving forward entering 2020?

31 teams including the Jets and myself were stunned at the return and stupidity, but that is a clear outlier.

At best, BB could have gotten a 2nd and it’s clear NOT 1 team offered it.

The league lost 4 billion last year and some of these owners don’t have cash. It’s why Indy who had all this cap soace is so cash poor until 2022. You are 100% wrong. Factually wrong. BB just gave 31 teams a 24 hour window and the highest he got was a 6th. This isn’t that hard. There isn’t a lot of demand for a 32 year old cb off a torn quad who has delusional market value.

Carolina probably can’t even afford him with Darnold and McCaffrey there and that cheap owner so he could easily be w rental and sign a 2 year deal elsewhere or be done. You’re overrating his value and being disingenuous.

If you don’t get markets and don’t get the cap, maybe you shouldn’t sound like an authority on it.

People like you just move goalposts constanty. If BB did deal him, you and your irrational ilk who likely whined all through the 2nd dynasty, would be asking for him to resign.

No, but would you argue that Bill isn't the one that is most directly responsible for every player on the field right now? Are you so blind that you can see that? Why did we need to spend 165 million in Free Agency ? Largely because Bill failed in the draft for the better part of the last 5 years, and his FA moves weren't a whole lot better in that time, care to go over them? Hell, it's Bills choices that led Brady out the door to begin with, and now you're all so happy to sit around and talk about how great Mac is doing and how we are rebuilding it takes time, bla, bla, bla. I say bullshit, this team just spent 165 million dollars in FA, we can't protect the QB, we gained 1 entire yard running the ball last week and just gave away a pro-bowl CB for nothing. Sorry but Bill has failed this team, and you may want to pretend everything's great like some pathetic Jet but it's not. I'm sure you will be singing Bills praises when we are 5-8 or 5-10.
 
That's fine, I get that they are scared, and so am I, I don't want this team to suck, but you can't hide from the reality that Bill simply hasn't been good for a while now. This narrative that they are pushing that we are some project rebuilding team that's going to take time flies in the face of reality, we just spent 165 million dollars on premier talent because Bill failed in the draft, yet this team does not come as advertised, it's deeply flawed and we may never actually get to see what Jones can be at QB because he's getting the shit kicked out of him on a regular basis. Those that believe this team is going to go on some magical 8 win run are in for a major disappointment.

You’re wrong again. How many quality players do you expect in a draft?

He has had 2 nice starters in 2016, 2 in 2018 and 2019s are playing right now and that class missed a very important building block offseason.

2017? Goodell cheated us. Many say we beat Goodell but I call it a draw. We had 2 SBs stolen from us with 1st rders stolen. I call it more of a draw.

I expect 2 good or great starters per draft. How many do you expect on average? 4 or 5? Do you even follow the nfl?

I am not a child or teenager thinking this is build your own Madden all star video game and I happen to follow all other nfl teams who are hilariously bad at teambuilding in the cap era.

As for spending, you are probably the same fan whining about “cheap” BB is as they spend about 10 mil shy of the cap wisely so every year, in case of in season moves that are needed.

Also, we’re not carrying a 25 mil per qb and the market is flat. The prices will be bloated next year. Just watch. Also, it’s hard to”develop” TEs. Well known by people who know the sport and follow it.

The only fools paradise I see is the one in which fools follow Bill blindly based on decades old accomplishments. So far he has accomplished nothing, nada, ZERO, with the team that he's assembled here. Oh, we did come close a couple times, so there's that.
 
Honestly, there is no way you back to the Sullivan years. No way.

You probably did this same routine in 2010 and 2011 and glossed over Brady’s horrendously bad postseasons, too.

I wish people like you would bandwagon somewhere else.
